Projects
Six pieces specified for inner-metro Perth homes. Each was viewed lit in the Osborne Park showroom before it left the floor.
Niece chandelier
A Subiaco dining room needed a multi-light that could be judged for shade colour and crystal density before it was hung. Niece was switched on in Osborne Park against a pale wall, then specified for the dining ceiling on a rated fixing.
Willow pendant
A Mount Lawley kitchen needed one line of light over the bench, not a row of small drops. Willow was the pendant they kept walking back to in Osborne Park — brass, smoked glass, long enough to hold the window. It hangs in front of the tiles.
Charles console
The living wall in a Leederville house needed a console with drawers, not a long sideboard. Charles was chosen in Osborne Park so the silver finish and carved detail could be checked beside the mirrors and lamps already on the floor.
Tania 2 exterior
A South Perth entry was dark between the gate and the porch. A matched pair of Tania 2 brackets was checked in the showroom for finish and light cut-off, then fitted to the front wall so the path reads without floodlight spill to the street.
Albany oyster
A Victoria Park extension left a wide white ceiling, and a pendant would have cut the view to the garden. The Albany 50 cm oyster was the flush fitting they liked lit in Osborne Park — alabaster glass, a soft pool, nothing hanging into the room.
Hummingbird lamp
A Claremont lounge was linen and a black sofa, and the floor lamp felt like a studio. Hummingbird — flowers and birds on a cream ground — was the piece they kept picking up in Osborne Park. The shade throws a low warm pool from the chest beside the sofa.
See them lit first
Bring ceiling heights or a floor plan to 14 King Edward Road. Scale, finish and light colour are easier to judge on the showroom floor.
