Choosing a classic pendant

Classic pendants have a traditional look: curved metal arms, finishes such as antique grey, satin nickel and black, and frosted glass or fabric shades that give a soft, even light. They suit dining rooms, entries and rooms with higher ceilings, and a larger one can be the feature of the room.

Over a dining table, hang the bottom of the pendant about 75 to 85 cm above the surface. Where people walk underneath, leave at least 2.1 m clear from the floor.
